Mover’s estimates, can you trust them?
There are many movers with different estimates, the question is that who to believe, how to get a good mover?
Mainly people move from one state to other, if there is a job transfer, once you are in a place and you need to move to some other place, it’s really a hectic job.
once you visit many moving companies you will come across with different estimates , some moving companies estimates less but at last they will give an unexpected bill.
It is better if the moving company sends any representative to your house and he estimates the cost after a survey that is how much you have to move. Two types of estimation are there one is binding and other one is nonbinding, in case of binding, it will take more time because it is based detailed assessment of how much you own, here you don’t need to pay extra for a heavy furniture or it takes more time to move than the estimation.
In case of nonbinding initial estimates are usually lower than binding, but be prepared to pay some extra if the move takes much more time than expectation or your furniture weight is more than estimated etc. So these are the things you need consider in a move.
